my typical school day.

So for a normal day in my school we usually start at 5 to 9am in the morning unless we have something special on .
Then we usually do fitness first thing after we do the roll then we move on towards our math time. then we all have a 30 minute break and go outside and have morning tea .
After morning tea we move on to silent reading or as we call it ( ssr ) straight after ssr we move onto our english which includes reading and writing
Woohoo its 12:30 pm which is lunch time, for lunch everyone in the school gathers at the lunch area which is a massive area with loads of metal benches , but we  can't leave until the duty teachers let us go.
After lunch so at 1:25 pm we all head inside back towards our classrooms and start to ssr or ssd which stands for super silent drawing, and then after that most days we do P:E and then either art , Maori or topic.
Woohoo it's home time at 3:05.
good bye .

  1. Hi Mia, My name is Seth and I'm from the United States and our school days seem a bit different my school days have different periods with different teachers. I was wondering do you have one teacher or multiple teachers?

  3. Hello, Mia.

I'm the secondary school librarian at an international school in Cairo, Egypt. Our days are somewhat similar in that we have morning break and lunch at the same time each day, but the classes we have are different every day because we have a schedule with an 8 day week. That means that you might have language arts first period on a Monday, but you won't have it on Tuesday, and you'll have it second period on a Wednesday. It took a while to get used to this, but now I kind of like it because you don't always have math, for example, at the end of the day.

Best of luck with the blogging challenge!
